QualDerm Partners Chairman Gene Fleming Named a 2018 Health Care Award Winner

Local Healthcare Leaders Recognized by the Nashville Business Journal

Brentwood, TN (April 12, 2018)

Gene Fleming, Chairman of QualDerm Partners, a company that creates market-leading dermatology practice partnerships through acquisition and de novo development, was recently named a 2018 Health Care Award winner by the Nashville Business Journal.

Each year, the Nashville Business Journal seeks nominations for this award, which honors the city’s top healthcare business leaders. An independent panel of judges selects the award winners from the roster of nominees. Previously known as the Health Care Heroes award, past recipients include former U.S. Senator, Bill Frist, MD. Frist is currently a partner of the healthcare investment firm Cressey & Company, which has invested in QualDerm.

“Over the course of his career, Gene has helped guide and shape the healthcare industry in Nashville and beyond. Having worked with Gene on three different healthcare entities, I can affirm this award is well deserved,” says Bill Southwick, Chief Executive Officer of QualDerm Partners. “We are fortunate to have a leader of Gene’s caliber on our team – his expertise is invaluable.”

Fleming, a healthcare industry veteran, has served as the Chairman of QualDerm Partners since 2015. Throughout his career, Fleming has held numerous healthcare leadership positions, including Executive Chairman of the Rehab Documentation Company, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cogent Healthcare. Fleming also currently serves on the board of directors for Aspire Health, Clean Slate Addiction Treatment Centers, and Syus Inc.

The 2018 Health Care Award winners will be honored at a reception on May 9.
