Customized patient communications were developed and distributed to help patients feel safe seeking in-person care. Ongoing efforts to ensure safety helped bring patient volume back to approximately 95% of pre-Covid rates by the third quarter of 2020.

Within 2 weeks of the pandemic onset, 85% of QualDerm providers were able to see patients via a new telehealth platform. The HR department worked to determine the best way to manage hours and necessary furloughs for the nearly 700 employees across the network.
