The Skin Surgery Center of Winston-Salem is recruiting for an experienced dermatology Physician Assistant for a busy practice located in Martinsville, Virginia. The candidate would also see patients in the Greensboro, NC practice. Martinsville is just an hour from both Greensboro and Winston-Salem, North Carolina!
Martinsville Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center is a well-established and reputable practice that has been serving the Martinsville/Henry County community, as well as many Southern Virginia surrounding communities for many years. The PA will join a large dermatology and Mohs Surgery group that consists of 14 dermatologists, 12 fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeons, and 21 non-physician providers over multiple clinics. The PA will be supervised by Dr. Stephanie Howerter, Mohs Surgeon, who also sees general dermatology patients. The candidate must be willing and open to be supervised by a physician, and work in a collaborative spirit in regards to dermatologic treatment plans, and appropriately identify and refer patients for skin cancer management care.
Along with a busy Mohs surgeon, the incumbent will enjoy a mature, very busy general dermatology practice that offers a full spectrum of medical dermatology and skin cancer care. The position has a four day work week if split between Martinsville and Greensboro, or could be a part-time position in Martinsville. The candidate can expect to see 20+ patients per day and will have support from medical assistants, along with experienced staff to keep your practice productive and efficient. At this time, we are only considering PAs with clinical dermatology experience.
