QualDerm-affiliated Mohs Surgeons, John Zitelli, MD, and David Brodland, MD, Recognized by Pittsburgh Magazine

Pittsburgh Magazine recently reported that Drs. John Zitelli and David Brodland were two of only three Pittsburgh-area dermatologists to be recognized on the Best Doctors in America® list.

Drs. Zitelli and Brodland are both board-certified dermatologists and Fellowship trained Mohs surgeons. Their practice, Zitelli & Brodland, PC, has locations in Pittsburgh and Clairton, PA, and is widely known for its highly-respected Mohs Fellowship Training Program.

Dr. Zitelli trained under the direction of Frederic Mohs, MD, and has authored over 100 articles and chapters on skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. He has been recognized with the Distinguished Service Award by the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and The Stegman Award of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).

Dr. Brodland served on the faculty at the Mayo Clinic where he was also the Co-director of Dermatologic Surgery and The Mayo Cutaneous Laser Center. Earlier this year, Dr. Brodland was named as the recipient of the 2020 Frederic E. Mohs Award, the highest honor for lifetime career achievement in the ACMS. He has also earned The Skin Cancer Foundation Fellowship Award.

Zitelli & Brodland, PC affiliated with QualDerm Partners in 2018. This partnership was QualDerm’s first in Pennsylvania.
