Advanced Dermatology of North Central Ohio Joins QualDerm’s Growing Network
BRENTWOOD, TN (February 4, 2020)
QualDerm Partners, a company that creates market-leading dermatology practice partnerships through affiliations and de novo development, today announced Advanced Dermatology of North Central Ohio has joined the company’s network of affiliated physician-owned practices.
Based in Mansfield, Advanced Dermatology of North Central Ohio provides medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care to patients of all ages. The practice was founded in 1999, by Christ Ticoras, MD, a board-certified dermatologist.
Dr. Ticoras earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He also completed his internship and residency there, serving as Chief Resident. During his training, Dr. Ticoras was recognized as Intern of the Year, inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and earned an Air Force Health Professions Scholarship. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of America’s Top Dermatologists. Dr. Ticoras has held several leadership roles in the Richland County Medical Society, most recently serving as President. He has authored several publications. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Ticoras served for four years as Chief, Medical and Surgical Dermatology Services at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Hospital in Tucson, Arizona; he also served on the faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine during that time.

Under the partnership agreement, QualDerm will provide Advanced Dermatology of North Central Ohio with management support, guidance and capital to grow. QualDerm currently has a total of 42 practice locations in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Pennsylvania, with plans to expand further.
